What can I do now? I had my upper and lower eyes done. Not particularly happy with uppers but can get them done again. My major problem is that I think he took too much skin under my eyes and now they look hollow and I can see dark circles which I never had before. I didn't feel I really needed lowers done but he did so I said okay. I've had fillers injected but it seems somewhat bumpy in the sunshine and I still see the hollowness. What procedure can fix this?
Answer: Restoring volume Volume in the face can be restored with both the use of fillers and fat grafting. It will be best to consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon in person and discuss your goals and options after a physical examination.

Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles -- Fillers Belotero, Juvederm Volbella; Laser Like Fraxel/Co2/J Plasma; Microneedling/PRP; Peels fillers, lasers will help in the office. long term deep microneedling RF is good for tightening, but at home you should dermaroll and consider cosmelan 2 cream or cosmelan/enlighten peels (see emeragecosmetics.com for products and where we do free skincare consults daily). There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will be the best long term. However, non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels and stem cells can all help give some improvement. I suggest. You get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals.

Answer: Facial Fat Transfer I am sorry that you are having this issue, and it appears from your photo that you do have options. Fillers placed conservatively in the lower lids areas is one option. The second option would be Fat transfer to the lower lid areas of hollowness. This option is more permanent, however great care must be taken in this area. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to explore the best options for you. Good luck.

Answer: Unhappy with quad-blepharoplasty I think all four eyelids look fine. You have age related mid face volume loss that can be restored through fillers, fat transfer, implants or a mid-face lift(very different than regular facelift)Any more skin taken off your upper eyelids and you will look hollowed out and the appearance will be one of having had surgery. Taking off more skin may also completely eliminate your supra tarsal crease. Caucasians have a natural skin fold in their upper eyelid even in their youth. only certain Asians don’t have a skinfold on their upper eyelid. Eventually if to much skin is removed from the upper eyelids patients will not be able to close their eyelidsIf you want further improvement of your upper eyelids you could instead consider a brow lift which may have been a better option in the first place. If you really want us to make an assessment after a surgical procedure you should post before and after pictures. If you don’t have them and ask your provider to forward them. It’s also not ideal to make an assessment if you’ve had fillers injected recently in regards to surgical corrections. To me your eyelids look very appropriate and I think your procedure it was done correctly. Again, without seeing before pictures it’s a little hard to make any type of assessment. Fillers done by a competent provider is probably the best option for building up mid face volume.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
