It can take weeks for the injection sites to heal, but in near all cases they heal well. It's nothing to worry about. If the spots are still concerning you after a few weeks, I recommend going back into your injector.
Juvederm is usually injected through the needle or a cannula. Needle injection parts are generally smaller and will go away sooner. The cannula injections need entry points that sometimes necessitate larger entry points. In any case, both needle marks and cannula entry points should go away within a week. If they persist, please see your doctor.I hope that helps
This is very common after fillers. If you are concerned, you can get laser treatment with Vbeam or Excel V to remove the bruising. Next time you get fillers, go to someone who uses cannulas to prevent this from occuring. Best, Dr. Emer.
Without pictures or an exam, it is hard for me to say definitively what the problem is. Lots of factors come into play here. What size needle was used to inject the product? Were there skin markings made prior to injection? What areas were injected? What type of skin do you have?Regardless, I would say that while there should be visible needle marks present for a few days, they should not be visible after a week or so. If they are or you are concerned, I would advise you to discuss those concerns with the person who did your injections.Best of luck to you!
Injection marks after filler treatments are common and should go away after a week or so. You can apply a vitamin K cream to help them resolve more quickly. However, the most effective treatment for post injection marks and bruising is the V Beam (pulsed-dye) laser. One treatment can remove the marks in 1 to 2 days.
You can get needle marks that disappear within 7-10 days after injecting any filler into the skin. Don't worry, they'll soon be gone.
Hello Resa. It is very normal to experience swelling, bruising, and needle spots for 7-10 days after injections. Follow-up with your injector if it persists longer than 10 days. Sleeping slightly elevated on your back and using cold compresses can help with bruising and swelling . Using Arnica cream topically could also speed your recovery. Makeup can help hide the imperfections until they all fade. Happy healing!
It is possible to develop small purple dots or larger blackish bruises after Juvederm injections. These will disappear after a week or so and no marks will be left.
Needle marks after Juvederm or facial filler injection will go away within a week. Other techniques use cannulaas but they make a small puncture wound which takes a week to heal as well.
Lip fillers will add volume and change the shape a bit but will not shorten the overall lip. Best of luck. You probably then will need a lip lift with an incision under the nostril sill.
