I'd like to create the appearance of a slightly shorter upper lip without having to undergo surgery. Can fillers be used either in the philtral columns or perhaps around the base of the nose to create this effect?

Thank you for submitting your question. I would go see you physician or a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in the country you are visiting, esp. with the pain ypur describing. It is hard to diagnosis without an examination and photo is limited. Best wishes.
Bruising after injections can be disappointing side effect of the treatment. Even in the best injectors hands, bruises can occur. That said, if its a bruise (without an exam its hard be certain,but certainly looks like one) it will go away. Two possible ways to quicken the process--Arnica cream...
