In revision BBL, we attempt to redefine the buttocks and upper flanks to achieve a better contour. I would suggest our Hidef BBL revision which includes liposculpture, lipocavitation, fat grafting, Brazilian Cellulite Treatment, fibrous release, and fractional laser with Exilis multi-plane tissue tighteningBest,
Ideal candidates are at a stable weight, in good health , and have excess fat in some parts of the body and too little in other regions. Gaining weight before the procedure is to no advantage and when you lose weight again the fat cells will shrink just like the donor site fat cells. Typically, the transferred fat results in a significant increase in volume of the body site being treated.
BBL revision surgery can address a variety of concerns following the initial procedure, such as improper healing, dissatisfaction with size, and asymmetrical results. Revisions may involve adding fat to correct or increase results, or removing some of the fat that was transferred during liposuction. If the original BBL was performed with optimal results, there is no reason for a revision.Sometimes a patient requests a second round if they gain weight or want more liposuction. Having the BBL done a second time is an option as long as the patient has enough fat to be transferred. The second round may have been part of the original plan which was to be completed in stages.I perform a great number of BBL revisions from around the country and from other countries. I would say that an important thing to determine is the revision rate of the board certified plastic surgeon you select for the BBL. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of BBLs each year and consistently produces the results you would expect. Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time. Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
There is a perspective difference between the two. I have performed many many BBL revisions mostly by other doctors where for a variety of reasons the result was not satisfactory not just too small. The revisions had complaints such as of fat too high in the buttocks, assymetery between the two sides, surface irregularities, transferred fat outside the border of the desired buttocks shape, and sagging butts. Round 2 for me would normally be a well shaped butt but less than the desired volume transferred from the first procedure where we got the 50% resorbtion of the fat transfer that we had expected and weI had reached the total volume limits of doubling of what was there to start wias reached And therefore a second volume enhancement procedure was performed and was usually anticipated in the original operative plan with the patient expecting a secondary procedure to get the volume desiredTnxDr. Seare

It may still be too early to make a decision regarding another revision. Swelling can be uneven and asymmetric months after a BBL or revision. Best to schedule an exam/consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon (BCPS) who performs thousands of BBLs and revisions each year so that y...
