Answer: Botox for masseter reduction While a single treatment of Botox for masseter reduction will not permanently reduce the size of the masseter, muscle, serial treatments will cause a long lasting decrease in the size of the muscle. Just like any other muscle in your body, while the masseter muscle is unable to contract and "work out" while treated, it will shrink.

Answer: Botox to masseters Hi tahha, thank you for your question! Botox is a great non-invasive treatment for masseter hypertrophy! However, it is not a permanent solution. Botox will temporarily cause the muscle to weaken, diminishing it's ability to fully contract. When the muscle cannot fully contract it will slowly atrophy (decrease in size). While the Botox will kick in fully by 2 weeks the slimming effects typically takes up to 30 days to see results as the muscle requires time to atrophy. We recommend treatments every 4-6 months. I've created a video that reviews treating the masseters with Botox. I hope you find this helpful in your research.
