I had liposuction to my flanks, thighs, sacral area, also a tummy tuck, 3 weeks ago. Now I have fluid build up(seroma) in the sacral area. Dr aspirated it yesterday. But today it's back. Should I be concerned? What can I do to stop the fluid build up?

Answer: Fluid I was your plastic surgeon again so he can aspirate the fluid and place a compression dressing over the area so the food doesn't build up again. This is relatively common and if treated properly will go away.

Answer: Seroma after liposuction Sorry to hear about your fluid build-up. Seromas after liposuction are uncommon but certainly possible. You may need several aspirations or even a drain. It sounds like your surgeon is on top of it, so please make sure to follow up with him/her very closely. Hang in there!
