I’ve had one doctor tell me I have symmastia, and one doctor tell me I don’t. When I’m standing straight, there is a gap in the middle, but when I push my boobs together from the bottom the skin in the middle lifts. I have pushed one implant over towards my armpit, and the other implant over towards my midline to see if it crosses. My implants don’t seem to funny cross, but go right up to my midline.

Answer: Very close!` Although your implants don't cross the midline, they get close enough to lift the pre-sternal skin, blunting the intermammary gap. If you don't like it, you'll need a surgery to resize your implant pockets so that they don't drift so close to the midline and the armpit too. This can be done by two different methods: either by closure of the pocket capsule at the medial and lateral boundaries, or by creating a new pocket but keeping the implant subpectoral. If your implants are over the muscle, then you should have them replaced into the subpectoral position.
