Does a nose job affect the nose’s flexibility and softness?

Hello and thank you for your question.  Usually after one year your nose should not feel abnormally hard.  You must allow time for the swelling to resolve.   Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system.  You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon.

With closed and atraumatic technique  it will not be harder after operation,
but with open technique it is possible.
