It's difficult to know who to trust when it comes to facial plastic surgery. I have been to Dr. Pryor on two occasions. First was to fix an injury on my forehead. The second was a surgery to close my MOHS procedure, as the surgical dermatologist strongly suggested that the wound be closed by Dr. Pryor. That (recent) surgery was performed in the surgical center and everything from start to finish went well. This was a complex procedure and required skill, professional knowledge and experience. I've been back to his office for several follow up appointments and thanks to Dr. Pryor, I am healing well. His communication skills are also top notch. I came to Dr.Pryor for help with my nose for a fracture and my right nasal reconstruction. I couldn't breath out of the R side which caused multiple issues. He was just so amazing from my first app to my post op app. Answering my questions and concerns taking great care of me. I haven't been able to breath well for years and my septum was getting more and more twisted. He not only fix the fracture and made my nose look so aesthetically pleasing but Dr. Pryor fixed my septum and did complete reconstruction fixing my issues. I am so thankful for his amazing work I would highly recommend him to anyone. Dr. Pryor and his team are so kind and easy to reach if you have any questions before or after. I had an excellent experience from the first appointment to the follow up appointments. My nose that was broken from a fall, is beautiful. Not only did Dr. Pryor fix my breathing again, but also gave me a better nose cosmetic appearance. Dr. Pryor has a wonderful chair side manner and I would recommend him to everyone.

I went to Dr. Pryor for a sinus issue I had developed from previously having the Covid and while waiting in his office I noticed he was also certified in Facial Plastic Surgery. After my sinus visit, I initiated a discussion on lower face lifts and neck lifts which I had been wanting and researching plastic surgeons until exhausted. Dr. Pryor took the time to explain the procedures in full and looked at my face and neck giving me his honest opinion on the results I should expect. I was so impressed I decided to use Dr. Pryor for my procedure and could not be happier with the entire experience from the consultation, surgical facility North Valley Surgery Center, Dr. Pryor’s office staff and most of all the end results of my cosmetic procedure. If you are considering facial plastic surgery, having a surgeon that specializes in the neck up is the wisest choice. I have never had plastic surgery prior to this and will forever be thankful I found Dr Pryor.

If you are considering a facelift, I strongly suggest you meet with Dr. Shepard Pryor. Dr. Pryor is double board certified in both Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology. Not only does Dr. Pryor have an artistic eye, but his attention to detail and natural results is impressive. What sets Dr. Pryor apart from some other surgeons is his accessibility. He is not just with you prior to your procedure but he meets with you the day after surgery and on a weekly basis thereafter for at least the first month.He is always available for any questions or concerns you might have. I know from experience that this is not the normal attention that you receive after plastic surgery. Dr. Pryor’s concern and compassion exceeded my expectations. The results from the procedure was very successful and provided me with a very natural appearance. I did extensive research and had consultations with many plastic surgeons before choosing Dr. Pryor. I’m so pleased I didn’t base my decision on the fancy offices of some of the doctors!

Back in 2006, I had a rhinoplasty, it was a mess, and I never went back to get it redone because I just could not find the right doctor. Fast forward to 2020, I had someone recommend Dr. Shepherd Pryor, and judging from their results, I knew I wanted to have Dr. Pryor do my revision rhinoplasty. Dr. Shepherd Pryor was such a great, upbeat, confident doctor. Jocelyn, his medical assistant was always so kind and always answered all my questions. I am loving my results and it has only been 1-month post-surgery, things are still healing, but I finally feel confident and comfortable from all angles of my face. I am extremely happy with my decision to have had this revision rhinoplasty and chin implant with Dr. Pryor.

I met Dr Pryor through a recommendation from another doc doing my breast lift/augmentation. Since I was already having surgery, I had asked him if it would be possible to help even out some nostril asymmetry I had developed years after my first rhinoplasty with a different provider. Dr Pryor took his time and explained thoroughly why he thought he could help, as well as suggested to lift the tip to help correct drooping that had developed. I felt very comfortable with his explanation and confidence, and I decided to do both surgeries at the same time. My recovery has been easy overall. I am only 3 weeks post op and already so happy with my nostril symmetry, improvement in tip lift which has given me a better profile. I know this will even keep improving. I do have some small residual swelling and tenderness, but very little recovery time overall. I took my first picture today and was even more amazed how much more confident it made me feel just seeing that photo. I feel Dr Pryor has been great with follow up and any question I have had. His office staff are super helpful as well and very sweet in nature. I will be recommending him to all who ask about rhinoplasties and revisions.

I have always been insecure about the appearance my nose. From the front, everything looked fine but my side profile showed a dorsal bump. My parents and I met with several plastic surgeons and we certainly did our homework before making a decision. Overall, I am thrilled with the result of the procedure and couldn't be any happier.

I am 5 weeks post-op so am not seeing the full results yet. I can tell you though that I am extremely happy with Dr. Pryor. He is skilled in rhinoplasty and preforms hundreds. Dr. Pryor set realistic expectations and has done a wonderful job. He has a skilled eye for aesthetics and believes in creating a nose that fits the face; not a one size fits all. He is patient when I meet with him. After meeting with multiple surgeons I selected him for several reasons - he is realistic, knowledgeable, and patient. He also is on the conservative side. I had a personal acquaintance who used him for a primary rhinoplasty and she is thrilled with the results. Rhinoplasty is an anxiety provoking experience in terms of recovery. Dr. Pryor understands this is part of the post-op process and appreciates and understands. He is compassionate with concerns and anxiety. At times when I have been anxious he sets my mind at ease and always makes be feel confident and calm. Dr. Pryor always takes his time with me, often answering the same questions over and over. I am certain that a year from now when all is said and done that I will also be thrilled with his work. Updated on 28 May 2016: I'm 6 months post-op and feeling unsure. I still notice that my nose continues to change, however, the asymmetry in volume has not resolved. Also, there is a significant shadow on the right side. I'm being patient, but get more concerned as time passes. I see Dr. Pryor in a few weeks and he said he'll be putting in some filler. I'm disappointed I will need filler when all is said and done.
