Generally, swelling after fat injected should last up to 2 weeks but there are always exceptions. There are many factors involved.

Swelling after fat grafting is very common. Each body reacts differently but a majority of the swelling improves after 2-4 weeks.  However, I advise my patients that the final result can take up to 3 months.  Fat grafting to the face in general has a high success rate due to the great blood supply of the face.  Good luck on the rest of your recovery.
