Hi, I just had closed tip rhinoplasty performed on 9/10/14. My menstrual period is very regular(every 28 days) and my first day of regular period started on 9/4/14 and lasted until 9/8/14.. Its usually only 3 to 4 days. 2 days after my surgery( Sep 12) I started bleeding again and I am now still lightly bleeding. Is this normal? Is this a new period? Will I still get my regular period 28 days after the 4th? I don't take birth control and just want to know when to expect my regular period back. Thanks!

I month is still soon after surgery, and there is still swelling present. In general, 70% of the swelling resolves after the first 3 months and the remainder goes down over time. It can take 18-24 months to see the final result of the surgery. The tip is generally the last to come around. I...
From the image you provided, it appears to be a dissolvable suture that you removed from your nose. This should not be a problem as these will often come out on their own during your healing process. I recommend that you inform your surgeon of this just to be safe at your next followup...
