Hello, I’ve been looking into getting FFS surgery. I’m a 24 y/o female, 5’4 57 kg. I have a very prominent browbone which I’ve always been very self conscious about. I feel like I didn’t have it when I was younger (I inserted a pic of me as a kid). Everyone on my dad’s side have this prominent brow bone, but I can’t help but feel like mine could be acromegaly. Can any cosmetic surgery fix this? Do you think I have acromegaly?

FFS for the female with very large surporbital bones,etc. You definitely have male SOB! AN X-ray will let us know if this is acromegaly or not. The bone can be shaved and your heavy brows lifted in one operation with 1 week recovery. This is a procedure I invented 46 years ago and have done more than a thousand. Your nose can be feminized as well to give you a more attractive and feminine appearance.

The acronegaly diagnosis is not carried out only with photographs but with studies of certain hormones. We do not believe that you have acronegaly but rather certain facial features that are a bit aggressive. Certain facial feminization procedures and combinations thereof can obtain excellent results so that your facial features looks smoother and more feminine.

Thank you for your question and photos. It's hard to say whether the cause is acromegaly or prominent brow bone from other genetic factors. The treatment is the same which is a brow bone contouring procedure. You will likely need a type 3 cranioplasty to contour the forehead. I do this weekly so make sure you consult a surgeon who does it very often. Incisions are hidden in the hair and recovery in my patients is 1-2 weeks.
