The acronegaly diagnosis is not carried out only with photographs but with studies of certain hormones. Thank you for your question and photos. It's hard to say whether the cause is acromegaly or prominent brow bone from other genetic factors. The treatment is the same which is a brow bone contouring procedure. You will likely need a type 3 cranioplasty to contour the forehead. I do this weekly so make sure you consult a surgeon who does it very often. Incisions are hidden in the hair and recovery in my patients is 1-2 weeks.
