Traveling from Canada for facial feminization surgery was honestly one of the biggest decisions I’ve ever made. I spent years researching surgeons because I knew exactly what I wanted. I didn’t want to look like a different person. I just wanted to look like myself… just softer and more feminine. When I saw Dr. Emiliano Torres’ work, I loved how natural his results looked. Nothing looked overdone or “obvious.” That’s what made me feel like he was the right surgeon for me. After my consultation, I felt this huge sense of relief. We were really on the same page. I told him I didn’t want my eyebrows lifted too high because I was scared of that surprised or overly “done” look. He actually listened, and that meant a lot to me. I think a lot of surgeons have their own idea of what looks best and just go with that, but he genuinely cared about what I wanted. At the same time, he gave me honest feedback from his professional point of view, which I appreciated. I had a Type 3 forehead reconstruction, a tracheal shave, facial fat transfer, and hair grafts. And I’m extremely HAPPY with my results. I'm only 1 month out from FFS and my forehead looks smooth and natural with coronal incision hidden in the hair. My tracheal shave is subtle and clean with the scar hidden under the jaw. The fat transfer added softness in a way that made me look younger, and the hair grafts frame my face so nicely. The best part is that I still look like me. Just a softer more feminine version.. And prettier. Exactly what I wanted. Dr. Torres isn’t just a surgeon, he really has an artistic eye. He understands balance and proportion in a way that makes everything look harmonious instead of “worked on.” The experience in Cordoba was also amazing. The staff made such a difference. Estefi welcomed me from day one and made me feel completely taken care of. I never felt like just another patient, I felt supported the entire time. Anni was amazing as well with post op facial massages to help with swelling, it made a big difference. I was back to looking “normal” within 10 days post op. They showed me around the city, which made it more like a vacation for me. Cordoba is beautiful and sunny, and I felt very safe there. There are so many cute coffee shops and dessert spots (which I definitely took advantage of) lol. Choosing Dr. Torres was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, his quality of work & perfectionism is comparable to some of the top surgeons in the world. If you’re afraid of FFS because you don’t want to look completely different, I understand that so deeply. I felt the same way. But I was listened to every step of the way, and somehow the results exceeded anything I could have pictured for myself. I’m so grateful and truly so happy with my decision.

I met Dr.Torres in September of 2018, one month after I finally admitted to myself that I was indeed female. He had come to my city to give presentations on his work. At the time I had health insurance that covered FFS surgeries, so I was just there to support a friend who was hosting. After his presentation, my friend came to me and told me that Dr.Torres thought he could make a difference in my case. So I met with him the next day for a personal consultation. I was so impressed with his honesty and the quotation he gave me, but I had insurance here at home. That February I had rhinoplasty and a look lift through my insurance, the rest of what I needed was not covered, so my results were, well not earth-shattering. I contacted Dr. Torres and told him I wanted to come to Cordoba to finish my surgeries.  From the time I landed, to the time I took off, I was taken care of better than what I received here in the States. Dr. Torres gave me a feminine appearance, but what I never imagined was a beauty. It was as if I had been born with XX chromosomes instead of XY. Totally natural and unique to me. Dr. Torres and his team delivered for me, changing my life. And for 20% of what it would have cost here in the states. if I had not met Dr. Torres I would never be able to afford and receive my results. 

I saw Dr. Torres for facial feminization last year and had an awful experience. I don’t even know where to begin with what went wrong. The worst part, however, was having my consent violated in regards to my rhinoplasty. We had agreed before that my nose was quite nice and didn’t need much. However, once I got there, he was really pushing more extreme results that I said very firmly and repeatedly that I didn’t want. I thought I had clearly advocated for myself and made sure that he had heard me. It didn’t matter- he did what he wanted anyways. He gaslighted me over what had happened for a month telling me to just wait and I’ll see that he had listened to my desires. Later he told me that what I wanted was too masculine and he gave me something that was more feminine even if it wasn’t what I had wanted. Besides that, the rest of my FFS results were subpar and will eventually require revision. In some cases, like my hair transplants, the results were even more masculinizing. Communication with him and his team was chaotic and stressful to say the least. The most glaring example of this was him having me meet him for a post-op meeting at midnight because he was too busy racing that day. Another bright example includes him failing to collect payment before my surgery and then having his assistant harass me and bang on my door demanding payment after the surgery. I could go on much farther about this awful experience, but ultimately the consent violation around my nose has been by far the worst experience if my life and needs to be shared.
