Nose tip surgery - what change I could expect? (photos)

Question

I had my ears pinned back years ago at this time I was told my nose is too thin for a nose job, but I could have nose tip done. Can anyone show me an image of what change I could expect? Thanks

Thin skin has its advantages and disadvantages in rhinoplasty. On the positive side, any changes made to the underlying bone structure will be visible through the skin. 
However, even minor irregularities and asymmetries will be more noticeable.

The main difficulty that plastic surgeons face when dealing with thin nasal skin is achieving a smooth and symmetrical nasal bridge and tip. In some cases, it may be necessary to transplant a thin layer of tissue to provide additional coverage for the underlying bone and cartilage.

It is best to consult with an expert in rhinoplasty for this procedure.

The vast majority of rhinoplasty surgeons will offer to do imaging on your nose in one way or another. If interested, you should schedule an appointment to discuss your desires and let your rhinoplasty surgeon fully examine your nose so that an accurate imaging assessment may be done. To do imaging well, a rhinoplasty surgeon has to take into account many factors, including the functioning of the nose, and a full exam is necessary to do that. From there, the morphing of images of your nose can most accurately be done.Best of luck.

Based on your photo, you appear to have thin nasal skin which tends to show more irregularities after rhinoplasty surgery as compared to those people who have thicker skin types. In that regard, the experience of your rhinoplasty specialist is very important. If your goals would be to have a less projected nasal appearance, Rhinoplasty surgery certainly could be considered depending upon your examination. Thank you for your question and photograph.

The profile shows a small bump on the nasal bridge and if the tip is rotated or refined, it would not look very nice unless the bridge is also reduced.

The bridge can be made narrower or wider in surgery depending on the original characteristics and the desired outcome.

It would be worthwhile having consultations with several surgeons to understand better your options and use computer images and simulations to help you decide on your preferred course of action.

Hello! Thank you for your question.I have checked your photo and it looks like you have thin skin. But thin skin is not a barrier for rhinoplasty surgery. It is even an advantage for rhinoplasty surgery. İt is easier to get as close as possible to the expected result with thin skin. What could be done with your nose? having a thin nose is not a contraindication to rhinoplasty. You do appear to have as a dominant feature a slightly over projecting nasal tip. You could have surgery just to reduce the projection of the tip, but there is no reason you could not have a full rhinoplasty to make the entire nose smaller
