I wonder how my breasts could become more similar? They differ in size & form (left side is a bit bigger, saggier and not so "rounded" & always pulls down my shirt) If I'd had a wish I'd wish the left side to be liftet and both sizes become even out. However I am also afraid of getting big unnatural looking breasts. I'd still want them fitting to my body and looking natural (I'm 170, 57kg). What would you suggest?
Answer: Mini lift with fat transfer or small implant The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfer or a small implant can be placed to match the larger side or the larger side can be be reduced to match the smaller side. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast asymmetry Your level of asymmetry may be addressed with a small lift on one side, either periareolar or vertical. An in person consultation with careful measurements are needed to decide on the right procedure if at all.

Answer: Do I need a breast lift? You might not need one I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They then get to choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You can always get a lift later if you feel you are not perky enough when fully settled and healed. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: Breast augmentation Hi, thank you for sharing your question. The differences between the two breasts can be corrected with implants alone and will not likely require a formal lift. A dual-plane augmentation may be right for you. Discuss with your surgeon. I hope this helps.

Answer: Breast asymmetry Dear Resourceful461228, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like your asymmetry is minor so you will probably benefit from different size implants or fat transfer. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
