I’m 27 and am interested in getting a breast lift as well as areola reduction. I’m currently a 36/38 D and would like to keep a large cup size. I want to be able to wear a shirt without a bra. My ideal breasts sit lower on the chest and filler on the bottom. Should I get implants to achieve this? Or is a lift alone enough?

Answer: Breast lift only Based on these photos, it would be my suggestion to consider breast lift without implants. You appear to have relatively dense breasts which will hold shape and fulness for longer time. However, small reduction, in particular lateral breast tails should be considered to improve overall result and longevity. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, expert in breast surgery, is recommended. Good luck.

Answer: Bellesoma Method At size 36/38D, you do not need implants but need a lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
