I'd like to improve my side profile as well as reduce my overall volume in my lower face.
Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Chin liposuction Dear oohitslisa, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from chin liposuction. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Chin Liposuction & Thermitight You don't need buccal fat removal, only Chin Liposuction and Thermitight Chin liposuction helps reduce the bulge under the chin and can be done for the whole neck. Once the fat is removed the skin can become loose and saggy in some cases. It can be avoided by combining it with Thermitight which is a radiofrequency heat delivered under the skin to tighten it. Both chin liposuction and Thermitight can be done at the same time. The recovery is fast and it can be done under local anesthesia. Click on the video link below Regards Dr. J

Answer: Would I benefit from chin liposuction? Much more information is needed such as your age, your height and weight to make a determination about how best To proceed. As long as your BMI is less than 30, then you can consider performing surgery on your neck. From the photographs presented, you appear to have fat deposits located both above and below the platysma muscle in the neck. Liposuction will only be minimally effective, since it can only remove the fat deposits above the platysma muscle. A surgical neck lift with the platysma plasty is required to remove the fat deposits below the platysma muscle. No skin removal is required

Answer: Facial aesthetics Facial aesthetics is pretty complex as a topic and different people are likely to give you different opinions. Fundamentally what makes one person look different than their sibling or other people who have their unique luxe is based on facial bone structure. Soft tissues are typically quite consistent among people and what makes an attractive person attractive and one less so has to do with complex ratios between the different facial bones. Obviously age has its own agenda and this has a lot to do with soft tissues. Generally speaking young people do best when it comes to Liposuction procedurs. I typically steer people away from buccal fat removal because with time people need that facial volume to avoid premature aging and I can’t look which can be undesirable. Buccal fat pad removal it’s also kind of an all or none procedure though part of the fat pad can be removed. If someone doesn’t like the result then you’re now stuck with an undesirable outcome of a procedure that is somewhat irreversible. Chin and neck Liposuction is straightforward as long as it’s done by someone who has sufficient experience and inherent talent. By five younger people get better results than other people at at the age of around 50+ minus people start becoming better candidates for a neck lift. I suggest having a few in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons in your community to see what each of them has to say. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
