Last autumn I had 1800 grafts implanted into my NW2 and NW1 area. At 6 months my results are very disappointing compared to what I'm seeing on the internet. This is not a case of someone having unrealistic expectations; it looks like I didn't even have a procedure. There are about 60 hairs where 900 grafts should be. Can anyone share accounts of patients having this poor growth at 6 months but exploding in growth later on? How realistic that is at this point? Thanks

Answer: NeoGraft FUE Transplant Thank you for your question, tressless. There is some potential for growth as each patient has different experiences and reactions to all procedures, but there is typically more than 10% growth at the 6 months mark. I suggest that you consult with the board certified facial plastic surgeon who performed your procedure for their advice because they have monitored your progress throughout the process.Best wishes,

Answer: Be Patient While a little unusual, at 6 months many patients have minimal growth, but end up happy with the final results by the time they hit the one year mark. Different people just have hair growth occur on different timelines. If it doesn't seem to be improving over the next few months you can always talk to your doctor about it.

Answer: Delayed Growth After Hair Transplant Most people should be able to see most of their hair growth at 6 months mark, but I have occationally seen delayed growth that we have seen full result at 10 to 12 months after hair transplant.

Answer: Hair transplant results at 6 months By 6 months, most have fairly significant results - about 50-60 % of the density. Yes there are rare cases of those with minimal changes at 6 months with nice results down the road but it is not common. There is usually a good outline of the grow by the 5-6 month mark. It's a good idea to discuss any concerns with your surgeon even at this point. All in all, you are still early in your hair transplant results. Waiting until 12 months would be advised by most.
