After realizing the extent and size of the veins, surgical removal would require a 5mm incision. This scares me a bit. Instead, the doctor used a laser to treat some of the veins, and I will reschedule in a few weeks if they are still gone to continue with the rest. I'm hoping the laser will work...the difference I've seen so far is amazing. However, the most visible part of the veins remain, so I'm waiting it out. My question is: would a 5 mm incision leave much of a scar? Would it be very noticeable?
