3 days ago I got laser treatment for veins around my nostrils. I believe my dermatologist used a machine called Regenlite Transform. Immediately after the procedure I started bruising really bad around the treated area. Today I developed what looks like two blisters on my right nostril, and they popped as soon as I touched them gently with a tissue paper. My left nostril looks ok. I feel like my nostril is burned, and it's very sore. is this normal? Should I be worried?

We perform foam sclerotherapy on breast veins and it is effective. More than one session may be necessary.H Karamanoukian MD FACS

Thank you for your question. Reticular veins as you describe or varicose veins can be treated with sclerotherapy. I agree that full assessment of the legs should be done with venous Doppler ultrasound to determine if you have venous insufficiency.BestDr H Karamanoukian#RealSelf100 Member
It is important to get a venous Duplex scan to make sure there is no upper extremity DVT before hand veins are addressed.H Karamanoukian MD FACS
