Hello, I've had gynecomastia surgery about 3 months ago. I did everything they advised me to do. 2 months after the surgery, I went back to the surgeon for a check up because I felt some irregularities, (scar?) tissue and puffy tissue. The puffy tissue below my left pec muscle causes my nipple to retract because it pushes against the scar and is higher than the muscle. It also disrupts the lining of the muscle. He was dismissive and unprofessional, in my opinion. Do I need revision? Thanks!

Based on your photos, it appears you have extra skin on the left, and to achieve a contour similar to the right, a skin resection would be advised. Hope this helps.
Gynecomastia recurrence after surgery can be caused by factors such as hormonal imbalances, weight gain, or incomplete removal of breast tissue during the initial surgery. Consultation with a healthcare professional is essential to determine the specific cause and discuss potential solutions.
It's too early to know at this point. There is still a lot of swelling in the tissues around the nipple this early which can alter the true appearance. If you are really concerned then book a follow up with your surgeon so they can reassure you. Best of luck!
