Is it possible to get a BBL and tummy tuck at the same time?

Thank you for your posting! These two procedures are best done separately as one procedure requires a patient to be laying face up, and the other requires a patient to be laying face down. Also, in terms of recovery, a patient who has had a BBL will need to avoid sitting or laying on their bottom for at least two weeks to help prevent fat reabsorption. This isn't possible if these procedures are done at the same time. In my practice I would recommend separating  BBL and tummy tuck procedures.  While it is common to do a tummy tuck and breast surgery, those procedures are all on one side.  You would most likely have a hard time staying comfortable during your recovery with procedures on both sides of your body. Your recovery will be more manageable if you have the procedures separately. Thanks for the question. Yes, you can get a BBL and tummy tuck at the same time. But first of all you need to lose some more kilos. After you lose kilos, you should meeting with a Board Certified Surgeon and planning the process. After planning, everything will be better. I wish you all the best.

BBL can be easily combined with tummy tuck, if you have enough fat to the abdominal area.
In this case lipoabdominoplasty can be performed and the fat that is extract will be used for the BBL.
The fact that you had a C section, will not influence the procedure.

Although tummy tuck and buttock augmentation can be performed at the same time,  it often makes sense to stage these two operations to obtain the best possible results from each.  For me I think it makes sense to first  do the  buttock fat grafting.  This allows  you to harvest fat from all areas including the abdomen.  This way  you will be removing any extra fatty tissue from the abdomen which ultimately will lead to a better result from your abdominoplasty. The key is to find a well-trained board certified plastic surgeon who is well-versed in both buttock augmentation as well as abdominal contouring to provide you with the best results. Is it possible to get BBL and tummy tuck at the same time? Yes. Will it give you the best results? No. These procedures require opposite positions during healing. For a tummy tuck, you want to prevent tension on the lower abdominal incision while it heals, and patients are advised to sleep on their back in a semi-flexed position with a pillow under the knees. For a BBL, patients are advised to sleep on their stomach, to prevent placing pressure on the buttock area where fat was transferred. The better option would be do the BBL first, especially if you plan to use some fat from the anterior abdomen. Then after you wait 6 months or more, have the tummy tuck. Doing them at the same time would not have as good of results, though it can be done. It would also mean a longer operating room time, which can increase your risk of complications.

BBL with Tummy Tuck is a procedure I regularly perform, and like everything in life, there are pros and cons vs. doing these procedures as separate surgeries. On balance, it is a major benefit for most patients to be able to perform these as a combined procedure with a single recovery. I regularly see excellent results with combined procedures and my revision or "touch-up" rate is not higher than if performing these procedures separately.
Some surgeons argue that results for fat grafting are not as good with combined procedures. While I understand this concern and agree that extended time laying down may have the ability to decrease fat take, I have been very pleased with our results with combining TT and BBL.

Tummy tuck surgery and breast lift surgery can be combined - this extends the length of the operative time, but conserves 'down time' and time taken away from work and home life to recover from these extensive procedures. 

Hello and thank you for your question. If you are in good health and can obtain medical clearance from your primary physician, then a tummy tuck and BBL can be safely performed together at the same time.  If you are an appropriate candidate for a tummy tuck, this can be done
through a low and short incision, all completely below the bikini line.  The belly button can be designed to look
natural and have no scars on the exterior.  
Your muscles can also be plicated resulting in a flat
abdomen.  A BBL can be performed at the same time for improved
buttock and waist contour.  Make sure you
specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have
had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.
 The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with.
I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic
surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
