I'm 10 days post op. I had lipo and Tummy tuck and I already had lymphedema in one leg before my surgery. Swelling options?

I've been wearing my compression sock but my feet are very swollen still what will get the swelling down .. Im wearing my faja also

If the swelling is only one leg and significant, you must contact your plastic surgeon to be assessed. This could be a blood clot which is more risky in someone with baseline lymphedema.Best of luck!

Plastic surgeons will commonly recommend their patients wear a compression garment following liposuction and/or abdominoplasty to minimize swelling and bruising following surgery, as well as help with contour.   Also, keeping your feet elevated can help keep swelling of the feet down. If at any time you develop swelling to one or both calves, you need to contact your surgeon immediately.
