Hello, thank you for the question.I personally dont recommend it, just in case any thing happens. Remember, always safety first!!!Best of lucks.Dr. Luis Mejia
My office was closed for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery until May 15th, amounting to 2 months of closure to new patients. During this time, I and my surgical team have been in constant contact with anesthesia, nursing, and hospital staff to generate the safest surgical experience for those concerned about COVID-19. In addition to permitting only one patient in the surgery center (SC) at a time, our staff checks temperatures of all staff and patients upon entry to the SC. Friends/family of patients having surgery are not allowed in the SC. Practicing social distancing in airports and in flight may be difficult.
Elective surgery, including aesthetic surgery, will open in State of Florida on 5/11/20/. Significant practice changes and safety measures are introduced every day (moment) in order to avoid new epidemic. However, only time will tell how will we practice cosmetic surgery in the future. Hope this helps.
Dear Body1020.,most plastic surgery offices are closed during pandemic. Once they open, you can get a surgery. In the meantime, you can schedule online consultation and check whether you are a BBL candidate.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
It is not as much a safety issue as illegal in the Tristate area to perform elective procedures until they lift the restrictions. We are hoping for a June 1st opening, but time will tell.By continuing the quarantine and social distancing, we are limiting the resurgence of a second wave of infections.Stay safeDr T
