Thank you for your question. Areas usually included for liposuction for a BBL are: abdomen, sides, waist (flanks), back and armpits. You could add liposuction on arms and thighs, however it's not recommended to add too many procedures or liposuction areas in a single surgery.
Thanks for your question. When planning a Brazilian butt lift, patients can look forward to a double benefit: reducing areas of unwanted fat while gaining a perkier, rounded posterior. Each procedure must be planned according to the individual needs of patients, harvesting fat from target areas of the torso, thighs, arms or knees and transferring it to create smooth, attractive contours optimized for each person. The amount of fat transferred depends on the quantity available and the extent of buttock augmentation each patient desires. Sufficient body fat for a buttock augmentation is very patient-specific, depending on an individual’s body shape and proportions as well as their expectations. That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Best is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Almost any part of the body can liposuctioned. I have liposuctioned the abdomen, sides, flanks, lower back, upper back, posterior neck, submental areas, jowls, arms, thighs, calves, ankles, buttocks, hips, knees. Notably absent from the list are the earlobes and digits. There is very little fat present on those areas.Best to ask the PS with whom you have booked as he will know which areas he will liposuction on your anatomy.
Surgeons will do things differently, so its difficult to answer that in the general sense. Generally speaking, anywhere you have extra fat can be used for harvest. Many surgeons include one area and then charge for additional areas of liposuction, some like myself include whatever liposuction is necessary to achieve the results you are looking for with your BBL. The only way to know for sure is to book a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon near you to see what your options are. Its always good to meet with a few to see who you get along with best. Best of luck!
That's a great question. In general, BBL includes liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, and back with fat transfer to the buttocks and hips. But, liposuction can be done from different areas of the body as well like inner thighs, arms, outer thighs, neck, knees....Seek a board certified plastic surgeon who performs many of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field.
