Brazilian butt lift: can I remove fat from my arms if I have eczema?

Thank you for your question. Short answer is yes, you could have liposuction with eczema, I would recommend having a dermatologist see you before surgery just to be completely sure it's safe for you to proceed. In order to have best results, I would also recommend adding torso liposuction (360 liposuction including abdomen, sides, waist and back). This will provide enough fat to transfer and sculpture your shape. 

Regardless how big your arms may be there is no enough fat grafts there to create significant buttock augmentation. Fat grafts will have to be taken from other sites like lower abdomen, flanks, thighs. This surgery will, most likely, have no effect on your eczema to my knowledge. Photos would help as well as in person consultation with a PS with good reputation in fat transfer. Good luck.

A physical exam would be necessary to determine the extent of the eczema, but you can probably have all of these procedures due to the very small incisions needed and the likelihood that the areas of eczema can be avoided.

Yes, in addition to getting fat from your abdomen, sides and back, fat can also be taken from your arms, even if you have eczema. That fat is then purified and injected safely into the buttocks to provide the BBL results you’re looking for. The fat can also be injected into the calves. Best of luck. 

The fact that you have eczema should not prevent you from having a BBL. Arm liposuction on someone your size typically gives about 500 mL fat per side. Most BBL's require 800 to 1200 mL of fat per side.  Most patients have their full torso treated as well to complement the BBL results and as a source of fat for the fat transfer.  Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D. 

It is possible to have a BBL/ fat transfer even if one has a history of eczema.  It would be a good idean to time the procedure when your eczema is relatively quiescent and your surgeon will want to avoid making incisions in areas of active disease.  Also check with your dermatologist for their recommendations in your particular case.  Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.

First, yes, having a skin condition will not affect removing fat from that area to be used to transplant into your butt/hips and your calves. I have been doing the latter to help get rid of "chicken legs" quite successfully.
