Possible areola pigment near my breast lift scar. Is this normal or can it be improved? (Photos)

had a breast lift about a year and a half ago. I noticed some discoloration near my scar that looks different from the rest of my breast. My doctor never mentioned any complications, so I assumed it was hyperpigmentation. However, the color and texture make me wonder if it could actually be areola skin. Is this something other patients have experienced after a breast lift? Should I be concerned, or is this likely a normal variation in healing? Any guidance or insight would be greatly appreciated.
