Thank you for your question. SculpSure is non-invasive and non-surgical and risks are practically non-existent for good candidates. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to determine if you are a good candidate.Best wishes,
Fortunately, heat-based treatments are not mutagenic, so there is zero risk of SculpSure causing cancer. It requires ionizing radiation, such as encountered in Xrays to cause genetic alterations,
There is no evidence that Sculpsure causes cancer. Keep in mind, a combination of treatments is needed for best results with Sculpsure. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. A VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal but would require more downtime. Best, Dr. Emer
There have been no reports of cancer associated with sculpsure. The laser has been out only 2 years, so 5 year data is not known.
There is no risk of developing cancer from SculpSure. As the other doctors mentioned, the laser frequencies used is not the type of radiation that is associated with cancer. In fact, lasers are often used to treat certain types of cancer.
SculpSure uses heat to melt the fat cells in the targeted area, not radiation. The latter is what can cause a mutation in your cells. There is no risk of developing cancer from your SculpSure treatments. Hope this helps.
Sculpsure uses heat not any radiation. Radiation can cause generic changes in your cells. Therefore there are not any cancer risks with Sculpsure.
Hello and thank you for your question. SculpSure is FDA approved for treating five different areas of the body, and therefore has undergone significant testing and trials. However, as with any procedure, it is important to undergo a consultation with a trained and skilled clinician and review your medical history and discuss any concerns before beginning any treatment. All the best to you!
SculpSure laser technology was FDA approved 2 years ago for fat removal. This type of laser technology has been around for several years in other fields in medicine. Other lasers do not cause cancer. SculpSure bypasses the skin and nerves and targets only fat cells. The cells are destroyed and removed from the body through the lymphatics. There are other procedures that lead to cancer. One of those things are tanning beds. They will cause changes in the skin. People in their 20's who use tanning beds have a greater risk of skin cancer than those that never use tanning beds. Avoid cancer risk by living a healthy clean life , meaning wear sunscreen, exercise daily, eat non-processed food and be happy. Dr. Eros
There have been no reports of any type of cancer related to the use of SculpSure. It has only been on the market place for a couple of years, so time will tell.
The key to obtaining a good result with Sculpsure is to use the correct number of applicators. Every patient is different depending on their body type. For instance, larger body frames will require 4 applicators to cover an abdomen vs 2 applicators in a petite patient. The energy is the same per...
As a high-volume specialized Sculpsure center, we have had good success in fatty back areas. Much of the issue is positioning for maximum exposure. We often find that a massage chair accomplishes this task to expose the fatty back areas for Sculpsure. Generally, patients want to try...
The most I have performed on one area was 3 treatments. If someone needs 5 sessions, it is the patient's choice. I would do 3 sessions and then wait 3-6 months before doing any additional treatments. SculpSure offers the best non invasive result. Patient can...
