It is normal to shed transplanted hairs days to weeks after surgery.  The new hairs may take 6 to 12 months to grow.

I have no growth 3 months after an FUE procedure. Should I be seeing hair start to sprout at this point?

It may take six to twelve months to appreciate the results of a hair transplant surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

Donor depletion after FUE is permanent since harvested hairs do not grow back from the area it was taken.  It may look better with your hair longer.

I smoked a joint of weed, 12 days after my hair transplant. Will that affect my results?

There are no studies to show how smoking may affect transplanted hairs.  If you are concerned it is best not to do it from this point forward.

All types of hair transplant surgery carries a risk of shock hair loss.  It may affect the hairs you gained from Rogaine.  The risk may be small but it is always a risk.

Not all surgery is the same and not all medical clinics produce the same results.  Not all patients have shock hair loss.
