Answer: Thin Donor Hair 30 days post-op is when we encounter shock loss in the donor area. From the photos it is difficult to tell if the thin donor is due to too many extractions close together, or due to shock loss. The next few months will be telling, if it is shock loss the donor area will begin to thicken, if it is from over harvesting it will not.

Answer: Depleted Donor Area At this point it's too early to say. It's possible your doctor overharvested and the thinness is permanent, but it's also possible you're simply seeing shock loss, which means the area should replenish further over the next few months. Only your doctor could give you better insight into what's happening there.

Answer: Donor hair healing 30 days post op hair transplant is early to really see shock loss. It does appear as the post operative tissue needs more time to heal.
