Hi, i would like to know in case of someone has growth vellus hair with minoxidil and attend to do a hair transplantation. Once the surgeon transplants grafts with the punch, can it kill minoxidil gain forever ? can it damage a normal follicule if the the punch touch it ? thanks

Hair transplant is not an operation to damage the vellus. Specially FUE method the minimal method to leave the scar and damage.

All types of hair transplant surgery carries a risk of shock hair loss.  It may affect the hairs you gained from Rogaine.  The risk may be small but it is always a risk.

Miniaturized vellus hair does not become a normal hair with any kind of theraphy .Hair transplantation result would be natural and ıf we planned a increasing density operation it would not create any damage to vellus hair already present on the scalp.

FUE does not damage vellus hairs when it is performed. Are you referring to a person who has native hair that is being transplanted to thicken it up?
