I am interested on getting a Brazilian butt lift done in the beginning of March. However, I am on a prescribed dose of Adderall by my therapist. I take Adderall for ADHD, depression and anxiety. other then ADHD and anxiety I am generally healthy. When I have been on Adderall for 18 years. I think it should be up to the anesthesiologist and my health history to determine whether or not I should stop taking this medication. Can someone help me out?

Answer: Is it OK to take prescribed Adderall prior to getting a Brazilian butt lift done? Your PS will give you a list of aspirin products, herbal medications, tricyclic antidepressants, and other medications to avoid before and after surgery. Be sure to tell your PS and anesthesiologist all the medications you are taking so these can be documented in your medical records. They will coordinate with the physician who is prescribing your Adderall for ADHD to determine when you can return to taking your medications as usual.
