Vaginal bleeding after BBL. Is this normal?

I had a BBL with aggressive lipo 6 days ago and I was still draining from my tube incision up until yesterday and today I have lower abdominal swelling and my left labia is swollen is this normal? Also I am still 1 week away from the start of my menstrual cycle.

It is normal to have some swelling and bruising in the vaginal area after Brazilian Butt Lift.  Actual bleeding from the vagina is not.  If you are having that, you need to contact your surgeon or your OB/GYN.  Good luck!

Thank you for your question.  Swelling in your labia can occur with liposuction of the abdomen and supapubic area.   Vaginal bleeding is not normal.  Discuss your concerns with your surgeon and visit ypu Obgyn or primary care physician.  Best Wishes

Hello, Swelling of the labia is normal after liposuction. However, none of your procedures should cause vaginal bleeding. I recommend that you let your plastic surgeon know about this, as well as visit either your OB/GYN doctor or your primary care doctor so that he/she can appropriately evaluate your symptom. Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
Is not uncommon to miss a period, to be late or early, or to have longer periods due to stress and hormone regulation, post surgery. But all these vary depending on the patient.
Please follow up close with your plastic surgeon for any concerns.
