Fainting spells while using Ciprofloxin and drain removal after BBL.

Question

I was sent home with a drain 4 days post op. When should it come out? Also, what kind of doctor can remove? Im taking ciprofloxacin, I fainted yesterday and has had dizzy spells on an off, stiffness, swelling in my left leg & a tingling sensation in my left hand. These are the most severve side effects, prompting me to immediately stop taking it. I have 4 pills left.

It is best for you to see your PS since you are having all these symptoms. I will tell you that it can be common for patients to feel as though they may faint when the garment comes off for the first time after surgery. Stiffness and swelling is completely normal is not secondary to your antibiotic. It is from the liposuction that is done as part of the BBL. Tingling in your hand is likely from nerve compression either from swelling, tight garment on arms or even pressure on the arm when sitting or sleeping. I wouldn't stop the antibiotic without talking to your doctor.
