Hi. I am 1 week post op bbl. I noticed that from one of my insicions water is coming out. It’s itching, red, and yellow water is coming out of it which does have a smell. I will see my doctor soon, but would love to hear a second opinion. Is it dangerous to have an infection? Is it easily treated with a cream and antibiotics? What complications I can expect?

Hello thank you for your question and provided information as well..based on your question the ideal is that you are first evaluated by your endocrinologist to see if your blood sugar levels are stable, if he gives you the ok for surgery you can be evaluated by a certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your questions. While decreased appetite and lethargy can be normal after surgery, I would not expect that to last three weeks. I would advise seeing your surgeon for an exam and evaluation.Best of luck!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACSOwner & Board-Certified Plastic SurgeonVIVIFY...
