Infected incision 1 week post op BBL! Please help (Photo)

Hi. I am 1 week post op bbl. I noticed that from one of my insicions water is coming out. It’s itching, red, and yellow water is coming out of it which does have a smell. I will see my doctor soon, but would love to hear a second opinion. Is it dangerous to have an infection? Is it easily treated with a cream and antibiotics? What complications I can expect?

Hello, thank you for your question. It's very important to ask the Surgeon who did your surgery to make sure everything is ok.

After liposuction and BBL, I place a drain in all of my patients to get rid of the excess liquid. It's normal to have some liquid come out from the incisions after surgery and it usually heals and closes with time. It's important to keep the area clean, dry and sterile.
