Is excess skin on top of alars going to heal with time?

Recently went to my doc for a 6 months post-op. Noticed my tip is a bit swollen and still stiff. He said it’ll go over time. As for the excess skin over my alars he said it will contract over time. Instead, he said we should do a HIFU procedure instead on kenalog shots. He thinks kenalog will cause my skin to collapse. Is it going to heal with time?? Can you help a girl out my with her progress.

Yes, the scars heal over time but never go away completely. The goal is to have a scar not visible by an stranger who is conversing with you. You will always see the scar. 
At this stage I use Resurfx laser for some of my patients or microneedling to make it even better. Strict sun protection is a must.
