Should I clean my nasal hair before rhinoplasty?

hi.I'm going to rhinoplasty on next days.doctor gave me prescription list.there are one that I should clean my nasal hair.I'm worrying about its physiological function.Plucking can cause inflammation.Someone recommends laser for it,but my hair is thin and not annoying me.after 1 procedure laser when it will grow again it'll be more thicker if I discontinue.I ll use any choice for once.dont think I use it again after operation.because it's important physiologically for me. which way should I use?

You should clean your nasal hair/ inside of your nostrils with soap and water prior to your procedure.  I do not have my patients pluck or trim their nasal hair -- I do this when they are on the table prior to starting the surgery.  The reason is that I do not want them causing breaks in the skin from razors or plucking, which may lead to an infection.  Lasering your nasal hair is a bit extreme.  Good luck with your surgery!

It would be helpful to clean your nose with water and soap, but generally there is no need to remove or trim the hair, as this is routinely done by the surgeon at the very beginning of the procedure. Good luck!
