Can I get a revision rhinoplasty to improve a dent on my nose bridge and breathing difficulties?

I had a rhino-septoplasty in July of 2020. Upon first cast removal the surgery seemed to be a success. My nose was smaller and the bump was gone. Once the nasal packs were removed I was able to breathe better then ever. Now after healing more and more and swelling going down my nose has started leaning to the left with a dent on the bridge and some slight breathing difficulties along with nasal whistling. I am once again self conscious.

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question sometimes due to the surgery mistakes nose can be deviated again with time. It is not possible to make a proper evaluation without photos. If you can provide photos from front of your face, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. The best advice is to consult with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists who offer computer Imaging so you could see what might be best for you moving forward. Generally, revision rhinoplasty surgery is much more difficult than primary rhinoplasty surgery so if you could benefit from a permanent non-surgical nose job, this might be preferable. That said, injectable fillers would not address your nasal Airway issues so it's best to discuss this with a specialist. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Much more information is needed such as a full set of facial and nasal photographs from all angles,and  a copy of the operative report to find out what was accomplished in the first procedure. If you're having breathing difficulties, you may need a septoplasty, turbinate surgery, or nasal valve repair. It's very important to know how much cartilage is left over on the inside of the nose for potential grafting purposes. An in – person examination is most likely going to be required to make that determination.
