I believe you would be an excellent candidate. Your jowling and loose skin is very subtle so your outcome would be fantastic given the excellent quality of your skin already. I would recommend seeing a board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive aesthetic training in plastic surgery of the face. This includes a plastic surgeon who performed at least a 6 year plastic surgery residency and an extra 1 year aesthetic fellowship.
Dear Jasminm,As per your attached media, it seems youre a good candidate for Endoscopic Scarless Facelift surgery. However, let me remind you that this is not about your age that would be an issue, its about your happiness and confidence, if this procedure will greatly help you in boosting the confidence you need then go for it!. Additionally, if you have excess skin or saggiyness, facelift will undoubtly give you a lifted and tighter appearance.Best Regards,TAS TEAM
Thank you for your question and photos. You may benefit from RF microneedling to increase collagen production and restore the skin’s elasticity. This laser resurfacing treatment uses radiofrequency technology to remove the outermost layer of dermal tissue and reveal the smoother, softer layer of skin below.I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to perform a more in-depth assessment and suggest the best treatment option to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
Hi there. Thank you for the question. It is impossible to tell if you are a reasonable candidate for a facelift based on the photos alone as one of the most important factors depends on the amount of skin laxity present. This can sometimes only be determined by actually feeling the quality of the skin. I would recommend that you seek an in person consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon who specializes in facelift surgery to make that determination.
patients who lose a lot weight tend to have premature aging of their faces. At age 30 though, I suspect that you could benefit from non-surgical skin tightening like radio frequency.
Hi Jasmin,Although the changes you note are real, they are still too subtle to be worth a full facelift. When people feel they need a facelift, they are really asking about a number of different components which can be treated separately without the full downtime, scars or risks of a full facelift. I like to break those parts into the lower eyelid (mid face), the cheek, the lower face / jawline, and the neck -- which has a superficial and deep part. For example, I might offer lower eyelift, fat grafting to the tear troughs and superficial neck tightening as an early intervention without the full facelift scar around the ears, in fact almost no scarring at all. Then later in life, you could come back for the cheek, face and lower jawline to treat those ares when they need it. In your case, from the pictures you show, the only element you seem to need is treatment to smooth the jawline on the left side. I would find a dermatologist you can trust, with a local treatment option to gently tighten the skin there, and save your money for surgery another day. Consider needle treatments, sometimes done with energy (like the Agnes system), and a dermatologist with the skills for subtle correction. If you don't know of one, your plastic surgeon should be able to recommend one, as we often try to partner with the good ones to offer comprehensive care. Hope that helps!
First off, assuming he weight loss was planned and desired, congratulations! Based on the photos I suspect you are noticing early jowels along the jawline. Given that you have healthy, youthful skin, I would recommend avoiding surgery for now and start with a minimally invasive treatments. The ones that would likely be most effective are the radiofrequency microneedling such as Profound or Morpheus/Facetite. These work by stimulating the soft tissue (skin/fat/muscle) along the jawline. Sometimes serial treatments are needling but given your age, there should be a noticeable result without any potential scarring, earlier than necessary!
Thanks for your question! I do not think that is the right approach for you based on your photos. If you are going to do anything, I would consider something minimally invasive like FaceTite to tighten your jawline. Good luck!
Based on your limited photographs, you have a beautiful face without deep folds. Even though surgery can lift things, it does not last forever, so starting at age 30 is early. Given your age, I would start with less invasive facial rejuvenation, including Ultherapy or Exilis for skin tightening and targeted filler injections. I have developed the ModelLift, using a combination of neurotoxins and fillers to create a harmonious balance of the facial features. The addition of fillers will make the skin more taut and provide a little lift.
Just based on the photos you provided, I would say that you do not appear to be a good candidate for a facelift. An examination of you would be helpful to give you further advice. A photo of your face and neck from the side would also be helpful.
Dear Maggie, Thank you for your question. When performing deep plane facelift, or any facelift, the muscles are preserved as they are essential to maintain facial expression. The soft tissue complex called SMAS and the fat compartments are the ones lifted during traditional facelift. With deep...
Dear DeZspoir, Thankyou for providing additional media for better recommendations. I would like to remind you that your age is not of significance as compared to your happiness and overall feeling of how you appear. With that said if you are ready to take this new step in your life then go for...
Thanks for the question. It is not necessarily too late for a facelift at 74 years old, as many individuals have undergone successful facelifts at this age and beyond. When considering a facelift, your surgeon will assess your general health, skin elasticity, bone structure, and other factors to...
