Drs .I am 9 months post - upper blepharoplasty .. scars are too visible and high (the surgeon told me before surgery that scars will be outside the crease because I had droppy eyes / much fat ). My left eye looks worse ; i can't go out without make up , i feel down .I am worried the scars will remain like that ( plz see pics of now / before ).Do I need to worry ? any options now or i shall wait for 18months ?am loosing patience . been using scar cream for months now . no major improvement. thnx

Answer: Upper bleph incisions too high From your photos, I believe your incisions were probably made too high. For now, continue with the scar cream to get the incision to fade further. However, I feel you may ultimately need a scar revision to hide the scar. The potential risk is removal of too much skin which could hinder eye closure. Talk to your plastic surgeon about it, or at least get a second opinion from someone with perhaps more experience in eyelid surgery. I wish you the best!

Answer: I would recommend to do microneedling with PRP and RF resurfacing It appears that your incision is not exactly in the upper eyelid crease as well as you have had wound dehiscence. Also, since you have a darker complexion, usually it takes much longer for the scar to look less noticeable. I would recommend to start having microneedling with PRP and radiofrequency resurfacing. You will need multiple treatments but it will make the area much better.
