Some swelling and/or tenderness is typical and will gradually resolve over 1-2 weeks. If it persists, I recommend following up with your injector. Best, Dr. Emer

Swelling and discomfort is a normal response after injections. This could go away in about a week, but sometimes can last a bit longer. Hopefully you have some improvement soon!

Sorry that you are having so much trouble. If you had injections in your temples then pain on opening mouth is not unusual for a day of two. However, if you had injection only along jawline this seems a bit odd to me although I suppose could happen with severe bruising but that in itself is odd in this area unless you had huge volume injected. I would call your doctor today to see what is going on.
