I recently had revision rhynoplasty only 5 months following my initial rhynoplasty surgery. Within 1 week early scar contracture occurred and I now have a significant scar on the tip of my nose, above my right nostril. I now understand that this occurred because the revision surgery occurred too soon following the initial surgery. This is obviously very distressing for me. What can be done to correct this and I will I suffer other adverse consequences of having the revision surgery too soon?
