I really dont like my side profile, but i love how my face looks from the front, especially my nose. My main issue i think is with the hump on my nose, small lips and far back chin. i also don't love my neck bit under my chin. What are my options? Will my face still look the same if close to what it was from the front?
Answer: Rhinoplasty My view is you have a very nice nose and side profile. Based on the photos you have provided, I think it would be unwise for you to undergo surgery. You have a very minor bump which is actually normal and aesthetic. The relations between your nose, your chin and neck are all ideal. If you would like fuller lips, then that can be easily achieved with some HA filler. You do not need surgery, which is great news. All the bestRichard

Answer: Non surgical rhinoplasty Sounds like you are an ideal candidate for a non surgical rhinoplasty, i.e. just using filler to camouflage the hump. This is cheaper and easier for you.If you don't like it then you can advance to a formal rhinoplasty.I hope this helps and good luck.

Answer: Profile changes in rhinoplasty I think you could consider a very minimal surgery , filing (rasping) the minor cartilaginous and bony hump , probably without the need for osteotomies. I think you try to keep surgical plan as simple as possible. If considering alteration of radix as mentioned in another answer make sure you have computer imaging illustrating with and without radix alteration to see if you feel this is worthwhile.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and chin implant for better profile A rhinoplasty procedure can address shaving down the dorsal hump, and decreasing the projection of the nose. To bring the chin forward requires a placement of a small Silastic chin implant. Chin implants are manufactured in a variety of sizes and shapes, and can be inserted through submental approach with the rhinoplasty under general anesthesia, or as a stand-alone procedure under local anesthesia. For many examples of the combination of rhinoplasty/chin implant, please see the link and video below

Answer: Side profile fix. Surgery or other methods? Hi, from the photos there is a slight dorsal bump that can be reduced with a Closed Rhinoplasty. IMHO, the weak chin is what throws the profile off making the nose appear larger than it truly is. Chin augmentation, using a chin implant, can add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. You can use a dermal filler for the chin augmentation (I prefer Restylane Lyft or Radiesse) but it will need to be repated at yearly intervals to maintain the desired shape. I frequently have performed Rhinoplasty with chin implant placement at the same time. Hope this helps.
