The risks of developing bleeding is very high in this situation. Bruising may be significant and serious problems may arise.
It is possible but you will most likely experience more bleeding related to the injection process and prolonged bruising. You should inform your injector prior to your treatment just so that they can make any necessary adjustments to the treatment protocol.
The short answer is yes. Blood thinners will significantly raise your risk and severity of possible bruising. However, fillers can still be placed if you are otherwise a good candidate. I have found that the cannula technique can reduce, but not completely eliminate, the risk of fillers in people currently taking blood thinners. Yes, you are just more likely tobruise but we have lasers that can treat the bruising. Also, you can use arnicaand bromelin (or eat pineapple) to help counteract the blood thinning medicationbut check with your doctor first to make sure that is ok to do.
