Can I have liposuction on my stomach or do I need a tummy tuck?

Can I get a good result with liposuction or do I have too much flab after babies? I'm scared of being left with bumps and loose skin etc

Hi,I can apprecaite your concern at the results of liposuction.  Liposuction will remove volume, but not tighten skin tone, and if the tone of the skin has been lost through pregnancies then the result of liposuction may well be loose skin, and this will need a tummy tuck of some description. It may well be a mini tummy tuck that is needed and this will tighten the skin to ensure the result is a " flat " tummyI hope that makes senseJeremy Hunt

It’s hard to say which would be suitable based on your photos alone. If you have good skin elasticity, then liposuction would be sufficient. If you have lax skin, indicated by sogginess and stretch marks, then a tummy tuck would be better. Generally speaking, women who’ve had children tend to be left with saggy skin, and a tummy tuck would be more suitable.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a
good candidate for waistline contouring liposuction of your abdomen and flanks.  This can greatly improve your overall shape with a
smaller waist.  Make sure you specifically
look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this
surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.  The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Maria.  It appears from your photographs that liposuction is your best option as you have a modest extra fat in your tummy and flank regions. There appears to be a little redundant skin present, therefore Tummytuck  is not needed. Be certain to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck.

It is difficult to tell from your photos but you don't appear to have significant excess fat or skin.  Small pockets of fat can be addressed with liposuction.  Loose skin (when standing) would need a surgical excision.  Your standing (or lying) photo appears to have a flat & smooth tummy.  You may not benefit from either procedure.
