Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Underarm fat can usually be removed with a combination of liposuction and small skin excision. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Noemilulo0823 You are not alone, fullness in the armpit area is quite common. Often times it is a combination of fat and breast tissue, called axillary breast tissue. Liposuction sometimes needs to be combined with direct excision of the breast tissue. Physical examination would determine which procedure is best for you. Costs for this procedure range from $5000-$8000 in New York City. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
Hello dear! Thanks for the question. The average cost varies a lot depending on the clinic, the country and the plastic surgeon. Ill recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Hi The fat tissue you see under your arm is accesory mamarian gland. It can be removed by surgery. The gland and the skin over it must be reduced. The weight of the tissue is about 300cc ı guess.
You have to be evaluated in person. It may or may not be fat. It could be breast tissue. If it is fat, it can be suctioned. If it is breast tissue, it may require direct excision for removal.
I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol regarding compression. I have my patients wear customized compression for 3-6 weeks straight then overnight for 3-6 months after their procedure. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage...
This should improve over time. I recommend following up with your Doctor about your concerns. You may have swelling, for 3-6 months after your procedure. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. ...
Thank you for your question and pictures you seem to be a good candidate for liposuction for the areas you asked about and also lower back, always see a board certified PS.
Liposuction with high platelets and RBCs is fine but you should not be taking aspirin. I suggest speaking to your physician they should have explained this to you and given you a list of medications to avoid. Best, Dr. Emer.
All insurance covered treatments require a medical diagnosis and a five digit CPt code to bill and code for insurance. Cosmetic procedures are not considered candidates for insurance reimbursement. Your pain syndrome related to endometriosis will not allow a treatment with Cosmetic liposuction....
I usually recommend to my patients to wait 48 hours after a drain is removed to shower. In my opinion, it takes about that long to have the "hole" seal up enough to be watertight. Hope this helps and good luck!
