Hi, I'm 26yo- I've noticed when my face is In a neutral position that the sides look flat and hollow. I'm 26 and have lost a small amount of weight recently so I think that may contribute. When I smile my cheeks look large which makes my face look better. Should I get fat grafting to cheek area or filler to make my face while in neutral position look better? Also open to any other suggestions on face in general. Thank you
Answer: Cheek volumization may be what you're looking for Hello, I can see what you are bothered by with your cheek region when in neutral position. You could try filler to the area to see if it can solve your problem and then if you like it you could have fat grafting performed as this is a permanent solution. hope this helps! -Dr. Halka

Answer: Re: Lack of volume in mid section Hello, this is Dr. Hong from SK Seoul. You are an ideal candidate for facial fat transfer. This approach will help restore lost volume and create smoother, more natural facial contours. No foreign materials like threads or fillers are required, as we use only your own fat. The fat survival rate varies from patient to patient, depending on factors like physiology, metabolism, and individual conditions. On average, about 60% of the fat survives, and most patients are pleased with the results after just one treatment, making additional sessions optional. I hope this explanation helps. Best regards, Dr. Hong & Team

Answer: Volumetric assessment of mid section of face Thank you for your post. It is imperative to have an assessment performed by a clinician trained and skilled specific to cosmetic medicine and surgery. It is good to have a second opinion performed by a health care professional.A general practitioner assessment is important. The reference of mid section may differ to our understanding of the "mid-face". That is why it is important to have a consultation and examination performed by a doctor that you trust. Fat graft to the face has its merits and risks. Some merits include increasing the volume in some fat compartments of the face that may have reduced at the time of your weight loss as well as benefits to the skin. Risks involve asymmetry, bruising, lumpiness or even accumulation of fatty cysts. The fat resorption varies from individual to individual and so do the risks of of any procedure performed by your surgeon. Remember, you have time to think of what treatment is right for you. Looking at your photos, you may consider regaining the lost weight to see if it makes a comfortable difference without any intervention.

Answer: Answer: Lack of volume in mid section while in neutral position? (Photo) Hi Brooko, Thank you for your question. Cheek filler or fat grafting are both excellent options for adding volume to your face. Filler is reversible and could allow you to see how you like the changes before committing to fat grafting, which would be a more permanent option. Hope this helps!

Answer: Volume Fillers are a great tool to add volume to the face. The wonderful thing about fillers is that you can go slowly and build up to the look you are wanting. Begin by visiting with an expert injector near you to discuss your treatment goals.
