If grafts don't shed 7 weeks after a FUE hair transplant, what does that mean? Will it affect results?

I had an fue procedure approximately 7 weeks ago. There has been minimal shedding and I have noticed that hairs transplanted are sticking around. Some seem to be growing long, however am really not sure about the remaining transplanted hairs that have not shed or grown. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

It is normal to have shedding of your transplanted hair weeks after surgery.  It may take  6 to 12 months to see growth.  If you don't have shedding you're lucky.

Not every patient sheds their transplanted hair, so there's no cause for alarm there. For the hairs that did shed, typically you'll begin seeing them grow in a few more months, for some people it may take 9+ months after the transplant to see hair growth.

It is rare but it does happen that some patients do not going through the shedding phase. Nothing to be alarmed by. Stick to your post op instructions and consult your surgeon whenever in doubt.

If the grafts don't shed and the hair grows, then you are in the 5% of lucky people. Sometimes the dead hairs from the grafts remain but need not worry as they will eventually fall out
