Why are my grafts not shedding and in parts growing quite long 5 weeks after FUE hair transplant? (Photo)

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

There are some people who do not have their transplanted grafts shed before beginning to grow, you could be one of them. Or, since you're only 5 weeks out, it's possible that your grafts are just taking a while to shed. Either way it's nothing to worry about and all you should do in this situation is wait it out and see what happens. You don't need to be concerned about your growth until you're approaching what the final results will be at around 10-12 months.

Transplanted graft’s hair starts to shedding in the first week of surgery and may go on untill 4-6 th weeks after surgery. But it does not mean that you gonna loose all . some of them strats to grow up immediatelly after surgery .İt is not surprising to lost approx.  %70-80 of all transplanted hair shafts in first month when you are washing, gently rubbing  or touching the head.New hair at transplant/recipient area starts to grow at 3-4 th month after surgery .

A small percentage of grafts usually begin growing right away after the transplant.  An even smaller percentage of patients report their grafts do not go into the resting phase and begin growing immediately.  

Maybe you are one of the lucky 5% that start growing immediately and keep growing without going through the shedding phase
