Failed Otoplasty 13 year old. Should we return to the same doctor?

My 13 year old son had Otoplasty performed by an ENT Surgeon. The procedure failed. He Is ears are protruding again. Should we return to same doctor or get advise from. Plastic Surgeon?

Dear Michelle   Otoplasty are known to have a recurrence in the order for about 5%.Most otoplasties are usually performed by plastic surgeons. However, there is some ENT doctors that perform otoplasty. If your ENT doctor does not perform a lot, I will advice to seek some one else. However, if he has a large experience and you get along with, you can go back to see him. Good luck
